Just like the face is the index of the mind, a title is the index of a film and what it is likely to contain. Given that, it is very important for the filmmakers to coin titles that are unique, different and special. But there are times when two titles appear to sound similar and that causes confusion.
This is already happening in Tollywood currently. The reason for that is the two movies Sarrainodu featuring stylish star Allu Arjun and Speedunnodu featuring Bellamkonda Sai Sreenivas. Both films are currently on a promotion spree of sorts simultaneously so that is adding more to the confusion.
Recently, one anchor was hosting a program when she ended up linking Allu Arjun with Speedunnodu. Later, she realized her mistake and apologized and corrected it as Sarrainodu. Let us wish the makers of both the films work something out to ensure no further confusion happens.
