Interestingly Punjabi Kudi Mehreen Kaur of Krishna Gaadi Veera Prema Gaadha movie fame got her Bollywood chance just after her debut in TFI. Going into the details, she has been zeroed in for popular Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma’s upcoming production Phillauri featuring Diljit Dosanjh & Suraj Sharma in the leads. This film is based upon a Punjabi wedding and the makers have counted on this promising Punjabi girl to gain the authentic touch. Phillauri will be directed by newcomer Anshai Lal and co-produced by Fox Star Studios. Anushka Sharma made a promising debut as producer with the critically acclaimed NH-14 and naturally Phillauri bears high expectations.
On the other hand, Mehreen has couple of Telugu offers (Puri-Kalyan Ram film and Sai Dharam Tej-BVS Ravi film) in her kitty. We wish Mehreen Kaur makes the best out of these back to back versatile offers and zooms ahead in her career.
