The milky beauty Tamannaah has come a long way from being a girl next door in Sekhar Kammula’s Happy Days to princess Avantika in Baahubali: The Beginning. Her journey as an actress has surpassed many milestones. She has outgrown the demure image from her debut and established a perfect glamor queen image later. Now, the actress is all set to enthrall the audience in Nagarjuna-Karthi’s multi starrer Oopiri directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Here is an iQlik exclusive chitchat with the actress:

Hello Tamannaah..how are you doing?
Hi..I am doing great!

Please tell us about your upcoming film Oopiri..
The film is a sensitive drama which tells that life has to be a celebration in every moment. I am really honored to be part of this flick.

You and Karthi have the hit pair tag associated right from Awara. How was it working once again with him?
It is my third film with Karthi as I also did Vikramarkudu’s Tamil remake with him. He is adorable both off and on screen! It is always a pleasure working with him.

This film looks quite different from a regular commercial flick. How did you prepare yourself for the role?
Honestly, I didn’t feel I was acting for my role. I had to understand how my character behaves and tried to be as natural as possible. It was a memorable experience for sure!

How was it working with Vamshi Paidipally?
Vamshi is a dynamic filmmaker who has the knack of balancing the art of storytelling. He establishes characters so well. I could see it while working with him in this film. He is very clear in what he wants and also quite emotional. Moreover, he is a great foodie!

Can you please tell us who is your Oopiri (Breath)?
Well, I can say my oopiri is undoubtedly my family which comprises of my mom, dad and doting brother (Smiles).

Was it interesting to work with a big production house like PVP?
Definitely. They have everything in perfect order and that is why they are making successful films.

If there is one reason to watch Oopiri, what would it be?
All I can say is Oopiri is a great stress buster. One can easily forget their troubles for 2 hours 30 minutes of its runtime. It is a tearful experience for sure. But the tears are not out of sadness but out of happiness!

The trailer has more shots of Eiffel Tower in Paris. Is there any significance to it?
I cannot reveal much of the story but I can say Eiffel Tower is one important character in the film! Wait to watch it on silver screen! Vinod, the director of photography did a fantastic job for the film by bringing every location to life.

What is your take on Oopiri’s audio?
Gopi Sundar, who worked for Malayalam blockbuster like Bangalore Days composed music for Oopiri. He is a top music director in Malayalam Cinema and personally love the song Oka Life a lot. I am listening to it every day in the early morning to kick start the day!

You reached the top most position of actresses in Tollywood with Baahubali. How does that feel?
Honestly, I never thought the film would fetch me such recognition not only in Telugu but also in Hindi. All we did was to give our best and follow what Rajamouli sir told us to! Baahubali has given Tollywood an exalted status and increased the range of the film industry. I am greatly honored to be a part of such prestigious team.

You shared a great chemistry with young Akkineni hero Naga Chaitaya in 100% Love. How was it working with his dad Nag in Oopiri?
Akkineni Family is known for punctuality, hard work and great fitness levels right from ANR garu. Nagarjuna sir is so dedicated and perfect as an actor as well as a human being!

Upcoming projects?
I am going to work for a trilingual with Prabhu Deva next. It would be releasing in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu. I am looking forward to it!

Okay.. thanks and wish you the best for Oopiri!
Thank you!
