While a lot is happening in the Tollywood circuit in terms of big ticket flicks, there is an equally resounding thing happening in Bollywood. The much talked about movie Mohenjo Daro is currently preparing to take the litmus test and before that, it has now released its songs.
Reports from various groups of audience reveal the music by the Mozart of Madras A R Rahman is soul stirring. Of course, those who are hardcore fans of Rahman say he has produced even better tunes with director Ashutosh Gowariker in the past. A total of seven tracks are there in the album.
Out of them, only three are getting good response. They are ‘Sindhu Ma’ ‘Mohenjo Mohenjo’ and ‘Tu Hai’. As always, Rahman has mixed his tunes and though consistency is missing in his tunes, there is a different feel to each track. Overall, this is a good album but cannot be called the best from Rahman.
