Actor Manchu Manoj has called for a press meet in Vishakhapatnam today. The young livewire who is otherwise one of the most undisputedactors in the industry is going to offer clarity over a dispute with Vizag Junior Artists.
Going into the details, Manchu Manoj is currently shooting in Vizag for one of his upcoming untitled projects directed by a debutante and produced by new producers Achchi Babu & SN Reddy. Well a group of junior artists claim that the producers are in due of Rs 10lakhs out of the Rs 15lakhs promised to them. According to a version, the junior artists demanded their payment on the sets yesterday (Aug 1) which eventually led to a verbal war and Manoj & one of the producer allegedly slapped them too. Both the junior artists and producers have mutually lodged complaints over each other in a local police station.
However, yet another version is in circulation - Following the industry norms, the producers have recruited local Junior artistes enrolled in the Film federation. But a group of goons allegedly attacked the producer on the sets yesterday demanding to recruit few other artists out of the federation.
Well Manchu Manoj shall offer clarity over this dispute in a special press meet that is going to start shortly.
