The recent terrorist attack at Uri has definitely boiled the blood of Indian citizens and the government has retaliated in its own way through the surgical strikes. Meanwhile, the collateral damage has been heavy in the Bollywood circuit with focus on Pakistani actors.
Movies having Pakistani actors were stopped while in the making and also their release. While some may call it as restriction to creative freedom, here is the question, is there a shortage for talented actors and actresses from India? Are they not capable?
What is the need for hiring Pakistani film stars for Indian films. At this point in time, it is imperative that we give importance and priority to our sentiments rather than other aspects. At a practical level, India is certainly not drought prone for talent. Let us wish the Bollywood folks open their eyes.
