There is a particular vision you would have of your film as a director and though you conceive it in that format, you cannot be sure everything will be shown onscreen. The reason for that is the censor board and their suggestion for cuts and beeps have to be accepted.

The battle between the film fraternity and censor board has been on since a long time regarding these issues. But now, things are going to change. The Shyam Benegal committee which was appointed to reform the censor functioning has given some radical changes.

To give a glimpse, there will no longer be beep sounds or cuts on scenes. Well, if this gets approved by the ministry then one man who will make the most of it is the eccentric genius Ram Gopal Varma. Known for his penchant to do something bold and extreme, RGV has always attempted something unconventional. It all boils down to the ministry approval now.
