We all know what a blockbuster was Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayuda song in Attarintiki Daaredi. The moment his upcoming Veeram Telugu remake was titled Katamarayudu, PSPK fan world was more than happy. While fans already got a glimpse of Powerstar’s Katamarayudu look, a song was released which got viral as Katamarayudu leaked song. But here is what happened actually with the song and the singer as well!
Going into the story, this Katamarayudu song is originally a fan made song sung by young singer and programmer Sweekar (of Oo lala song, Express Raja movie fame). However, the song was uploaded and promoted as ‘Katamarayudu leaked song’ which gave rise to rumours on the young fledgling singer. Speaking to iQlik on this, Sweekar stated “I don’t know if I’ve to be happy that the song is going viral or worry about comments that say I made the song seeking publicity which is not true. I’ve no such intentions and I’m happy with the work I’m doing now.”
Meanwhile, the song is picking up and fans are enjoying it. “Glad Powerstar fans like it and thanks for all the appreciation” said Sweekar. On the other hand, Katamarayudu team also unofficially clarified that it is just a fan made song. That’s the story for you!
