He is none other than the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli. King Akkineni Nagarjuna announced recently that this year the award would be given to Rajamouli for his contribution towards cinema. After this announcement, Rajamouli came forward to share his reactions on becoming the chosen one.
He reportedly mentioned it was truly an honour for him to be chosen and he is privileged to join the list of legends who had received this award prior to him. True to his statement, the ANR award was given to the likes of living legend Amitabh Bachchan, K Balachander, Dev Anand, Shyam Benegal, Lata Mangeshkar and others.
