While we are busy drooling over the cult impact of Arjun Reddy and excited about the arrival of the much hyped Jai Lava Kusa, there is also another film which is silently shaping up and that too in a fast way. We are talking about ‘Kaala’ featuring Style Samrat Rajnikanth. This is being helmed by P A Ranjith.
According to reports, the film has completed 70% of its shooting and everything has shaped up very well. It is known that the duo has teamed up earlier for the movie Kabali which didn’t fare well at the box office. Yet again Kaala happens to be a gangster flick which is being made on the backdrop of Mumbai.
The pace with which the film is being shot only goes to show that the film might just arrive at the end of the year or early January during Pongal time in Tamil Nadu. Rajini is being flanked by the voluptuous Bollywood beauty Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil and others. The industry folks say this speed of shooting is setting a new record in the cine circuit.
