The nexus between the cinema industry and politics goes way back and whenever the election season is approaching, it is a field time for the cine folks. While a majority of them get into the canvassing mode albeit at a price, there are those who directly plan to get into the political arena and grab an MLA or MP seat.
The 2019 elections are soon approaching and as a result, the election fever has picked up quite a bit in the Telugu Film Industry. For starters, power star Pawan Kalyan is spearheading the campaign with his party Jana Sena. The noted actor Sivaji is also preparing to get into the election fray and he has been quite active.
The latest reports reveal mega brother Naga Babu has shown interest to contest in the upcoming elections on behalf of Jana Sena. However, he reportedly mentioned he would do that only if his brother Pawan wants him to do so. There are also few other actors and actresses who are busy lobbying to gain entry into a party subject to getting a ticket.
