There was a huge drama related to this. Though most of the fans were very happy to see Renu Desai getting engaged, a few had some hatred regarding. 

Renu Desai even quit Twitter, after the drama continued. Renu Desai has been writing posts against the trolls on her, and she has warned them to keep distance. In one of the posts, Renu Desai warned the troll and said that it wouldn't be this easier if she opened her mouth and unveil the facts.

After a fake edit was propagated on her name, Renu Desai has come up with an explanation that some stupid politicians have politicized her statements. She stated that she is not the one who will get into anyone's influence.
