It is more or less a mandatory requirement that when a big star hero’s film is in the making, the budget has to be high. Having said that, it also doesn’t mean the makers end up splurging on it and finally fail to recover it despite having a good product. The Telugu Film Industry has seen quite a few cost failures like that.

Presently the movie ‘Maharshi’ featuring superstar Mahesh Babu is preparing for a long schedule in the US and it is heard that the extravagant director Vamshi Paidipally is determined to take a big battalion of his team. Normally, key members of the team travel and rest of the work is done in collaboration with the local crew.

However, Vamshi is reportedly not willing to do so. This only means the expenditure is going to be huge for this schedule and eventually it would also spike the budget. This also opens up the possibility of budget overshooting and the film becoming a cost failure. Hope the makers have a proper strategy in place.
