The cine folks were used to Hyderabad as its base but with the state breaking into two, it became a sensitive situation. Anyhow, the current situation is, the cine biggies have started eyeing another place to develop the industry and it is the steel city Vizag. Reports reveal Filmnagar kind of preparations are happening now.

There are also reports that post elections the chief minister Chandrababu Naidu has few plans to boost the cine circuit and give them lucrative sops if he comes into power. If that happens there is no doubt Vizag would become the next hub for cine celebrities. As of now, there is Ramanaidu Film Studios in that city.
