Gone are the days when movies used to be taken for a substantial amount in terms of the satellite rights. The business format has changed and it all boils down to the hero and the content. Hence, the buyers are looking for the film’s performance in the theatres and then locking the price. Of course, this is not the issue with big stars.

Their movies are always sold like hot cakes when it comes to the satellite rights. Amidst all this, one hero who is yet to make his mark has managed to seal a good deal. He is none other than Allu Sirish and according to reports, his new movie ‘ABCD’ has struck a nice price as far as the satellite rights go.

It is heard that the film’s satellite has been taken for 2.5 crores and sources reveal it was made at a budget of nearly 6 crores. This means that already 1/3rd of the investment has been recovered. This is a remake of a Malayalam hit and hence Sirish is super confident it would work with the Telugu audience as well.
