Film Celebs Urge People To Vote On Twitter

As the voting for Telangana assembly polls began though out the state at 7 AM today, several film celebrities and politicians have made it early to the polling booths to exercise the choice of vote. Most of them have made an appeal to voters of Telangana to come out in large numbers and show their support for their candidate of choice.


Most of the celebrities have voted in Jubilee Hills assembly segment and actors like Chiranjeevi, Nagarjuna, NTR Jr, Nithin, Venkatesh, Allu Arjun, Srikanth, Amala Akkineni and other exercised their right to vote in the early hours. Also, several celebs are posting selfies, voting photos and their thoughts on Twitter to make an appeal to their followers.


Taking to Twitter after casting his vote along with wife Amala, Nagarjuna tweeted: "Telangana!! Time to vote my friends!! Go for it". Baahubali director Rajamouli SS also exercised his vote in Shaikpet, Hyderabad and posted his selfie with a caption: "I did my part! Did you? #TelanganaElections2018"


Actor Nithin also posted his picture wherein he is showing his inked finger and said: "I got inked!! Did u yet?? Common get out and go vote!!"


Earlier in the day, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi appealed the voters in Telangana, in Telugu, to come out in large numbers to cast their vote. Badminton player PV Sindhu, Coach Pullela Gopichand, Bandla Ganesh and politicians from all parties have cast their votes in first three hours.
