For the first time ever, something big is happening in the history of the Telugu film industry. Marking the release of ‘NTR – Kathanayakudu’ on January 9, about 100 idols of NTR will be laid for public viewing in 100 selective theatres across the Telugu states.
Hero Nandamuri Balakrishna and Vidya Balan will unveil the first idol in Tirupathi on Tuesday at PJR theatre. Fans of Balakrishna, Nandamuri family and late Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao were seen at the event and they were all praise for the film. Balakrishna, Vidya, director Krish Jagarlamudi, Nandamuri Kalyanram and Sumanth are touring Nimmakuru, Bengaluru and Tirupathi on Monday (Jan 7th) and Tuesday (Jan 8th) respectively. They will start their tour in a special chartered flight from Hyderabad.
The second day after the idol unveiling the trio will interact with media. ‘NTR – Kathanayakudu’ is the first part of ‘NTR’ directed by Krish. The second part of this film which is made as a franchise, titled Mahanayakudu is slated for release on February 7.
