The first release of this Pongal season, NTR- Kathanayakudu featuring Balakrishna and Vidya Balan in lead roles, has walked into the cinemas today. The movie directed by Krish Jagarlamudi is all about how NTR made his way into cinema and how he emerged as one of the biggest Superstar in Tollywood.

Going by the first reports, the biopic seems to be a great tribute to the legendary actor NTR and Balakrishna, who plays his father's role, aced the performance and matched the high expectations on the film. Some early viewers, who were able to catch the cinema in different parts of the globe, are raving highly about his phenomenal acting and also, Krish's direction. They're bowled over by his acting in some particular episodes like: Sri Krishna getup scene, Ravanasuna scene and the entry scene.

All the reports, so far, have been quite positive and the magic of legendary NTR has worked out once again on the silver screen. Also, Vidya Balan as 'Basavatharakam' is receiving huge applause for a spectacular performance. It looks like the audiences are going to reward the makers for all their hard work. Director Krish, who did extensive homework regarding the storyline, seems to have spent a fair amount of time in getting the emotions right. Now that everybody on social media is applauding the brilliant work of Balayya and Krish, it looks like all tremendous hard work of director and actor has paid off.

All in all, director Krish seems to have delivered rich tributes to NTR, with his magical touch. The trade analysts are predicting a decent box office run if it continues the same mouth talk but other Pongal releases like VVR, F2 and Petta may worry this film at the box-office. Also featuring Sumanth as Akkineni Nageswara Rao, Rakul Preet Singh as Sridevi and Rana as Nara Chandrababu, this biopic film is has got big star cast. 

Given that there're other big-budget movies scheduled in this week, it remains to be seen how this biopic will do at the box-office.
