Raghava Lawrence, a renowned director down South, made a name for himself with a popular horror series 'Kanchana'. The director who was supposed to make his Bollywood debut with Kanchana remake with Akshay Kumar suddenly announced that he will drop out of the project.
Declaring his exit from his debut Bollywood film 'Laxmmi Bomb', Lawrence said he was not given any update on first look poster release and also, makers did not give self-respect for his job. Last week, he said that makers are coming to Chennai to meet him to discuss him rejoining the team. With that statement, Lawrence indicated that he may rejoin 'Laxmmi Bomb' again.
On Saturday evening, Lawrence tweeted that he is back as the director of 'Laxmmi Bomb' and thanked film's lead actor Akshay Kumar for his support in sorting out the issue. He also thanked the film's producer Shabina Khan. Laxmmi Bomb starring Kiara Advani as the leading lady is scheduled for theatrical release on 5th June 2020.
