Action hero Gopichand, who is reeling under a series of flops, is making all efforts to strike back but it looks quite a daunting task. The actor is now shooting for his next film in the direction of Thiru. The film, featuring Mehrene Pirzada and Zareen Khan as leading ladies, is reportedly titled as 'Chanakya'. An official announcement in this regard will be made on June 9th, at 11:34 AM.

The project, touted as an action thriller, is being bankrolled by Anil Sunkara. While Abburi Ravi is taking care of dialogues, Vishal Chandrasekhar of 'Padi Padi Leche Manasu' fame is the music composer.

While shooting for an action episode of the film in Rajasthan, Gopichand fell off from a moving bike and was admitted to the hospital. He, later, recovered and finished that episode. There are some rumors that this film an official remake of Bollywood super hit 'Tiger Zinda Hai', starring Salman Khan & Katrina Kaif in the lead.
