Kollywood senior actress Jyothika has recently come to theatres as headmistress Geetha Rani in 'Raatchasi'. The film, which released on July 5th, has received positive reviews. Now, the actress is coming with a message-oriented film that is to be produced by her dear husband Suriya under 2D Entertainment banner.


The film, titled as Ponmagal Vandhal, is going to be made by fresher named Fredrick. The key cast of the film includes senior filmmaker Bhagyaraj, Prathap Pothen, Pandirajan, and Parthiban. Music is by Govind Vasantha, 96 fame, and editing by Anthony Ruben. The film will present Jyothika in a message-giving role and central plot of the story is not known. 


The pooja ceremony of the film has taken place in Agaram Foundation, Chennai and it's attended by Suriya, Karthi, Jyothika, Bhagyaraj, Parthiban, Pandirajan, Director Hari, 2D Entertainment CEO Rajasekhar, Producers SR Prabhu, SR Prakash Babu, and others
