Megastar Chiranjeevi's Sye Raa, based on the story of freedom fighter Uyyalawada Narasimha Reddy, is one of the most awaited films of this season. The big budget movie, directed by Surendar Reddy, has been bankrolled by Ram Charan on Konidela Productions.
A grand pre-release event has been scheduled to happen at LB Stadium, Hyderabad on 18th September. Makers have confirmed that Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan, Baahubali director SS Rajamouli, Chiranjeevi's next director Koratala Siva and VV Vinayak will be attending this event as its chief guests. Also, many other film personalities will be at the event. Telangana state IT Minister KTR also was supposed to attend this event, but due to some undisclosed reasons he wouldn't turn up - said the makers. On the same day, the movie unit will release official theatrical trailer of the film.
Scheduled to release on October 2nd, Sye Raa stars Bollywood Megastar Amitabh Bachchan, Nayanthara, Tamannah, Vijay Sethupathi, Sudeep, Jagapathi Babu and others. On other, the makers were able to make solid pre release business by selling the digital rights to Amazon Prime for a massive price. Sye Raa is releasing globally in multiple languages- Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Malayalam and Kannada.
