After the release of Baahubali, Telugu cinema market has expanded and the entire nation has opened doors for Telugu cinema. Many movies, after Baahubali, like Saaho and Sye Raa have been released across the country. While Saaho managed to mint good money by releasing in Bollywood, Sye Raa Narasimha Reddy ended up as a disappointment for the buyers. It looks like Telugu producers haven't learnt a lesson out of it.
After Prabhas and Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu also wants to attempt a Pan-India cinema and emerge as a National Star. It is known that the Superstar reportedly given his a nod to KGF director Prashant Neel for his upcoming movie. Given his craze and super success of Neel's KGF in Bollywood, Mahesh wants to release his film all over India.
A similar mistake was committed by Megastar Chiranjeevi for Sye Raa, which was poorly promoted in Hindi. Even though the periodic action film garnered amazing response from Telugu States, it has failed to impress Bollywood audiences due to various reasons. We will have to wait and see if Mahesh Babu is so confident about the script narrated by Neel.
