According to sources close to him, RGV works on a per movie format and irrespective of hit or flop he takes a contract and takes an amount as his fee. He does nearly 5-6 movies per year and whoever pays him they pay for his name, decision and idea. The execution is done by his assistants, team and he is the show runner creating the required hype and buzz.

Given his approach and appetite, no other Tollywood director can earn as much as RGV does. One approximate figure says he is earning more than what the tough taskmaster S S Rajamouli earns. Of course, whatever RGV earns he doesn’t invest in real estate or other fields, he spends them for his fun and most importantly, in cinema. Nobody has this type of guts.
