Pawan Kalyan Donates Rs 1 Cr To Sainik Board!

The actor turned politician Pawan Kalyan has, on Friday, said he will be donating Rs 1 Crore to Kendriya Sainik Board for the 'welfare of our soldiers families'.

The 48-year-old, who is heading Jana Sena, has urged his followers and fellow Indians to support the families of armed forces through KSB (Kendriya Sainik Board) through a short video byte. After the tweet from Pawan, KSB had been overwhelmed with several donations from Jana Sena party supporters. This donation by Pawan apparently reflects his desire to serve the nation.

Pawan said in a tweet: "I am donating Rs1 crore to the ‘kendriya sainik board’ for the welfare our soldiers families. I will personally handover the DD to the concerned authorities in Delhi. My heartfelt gratitude to ‘PM Modiji’ for reminding our responsibility towards our Nation?#ArmedForcesFlagDay"

"Let’s show our solidarity to the call given by our Beloved & Hon. PM Shri Narendra Modi ji to support generously  for the families of armed forces through ‘Kendriya  sainik board’  on #ArmedForcesFlagDay 7th December. Jai Hind!" - he added.

Reacting to the party chief's post, KSB said: "Words are less to express the gratitude. #ArmedForcesFlagDay. We are grateful to Shri @PawanKalyan for his generous contribution towards #ArmedForcesFlagDay Fund. You too can be a part... visit ksb.gov.in"
