Based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, Sony Pictures and Mahesh Babu are producing a film 'Major' with Adivi Sesh. The Hindi-Telugu bilingual, which is expected to release in summer-2020, is being directed by Thikka Sashi Kiran. With a view to gain the attention of the Hindi belt and spread the market, the producers have decided to rope in Alia Bhatt for 'Major'. Apart from Alia Bhatt, few other Hindi actors are also expected to act in this biopic.
