After going through years of a rough patch, director Puri Jagannadh has finally scored a hit with ISmart Shankar. Boosted with success of it, Puri has now set his focus on 'Fighter' starring Vijay Deverakonda. The entire industry is looking forward to this combination and the director is planning to make it a Pan-India film. So, to make it possible, Puri's team approached Jhanvi Kapoor for the female lead role. Everyone thought that the project would gain a huge craze with Puri as its director and Vijay-Jhanvi in the lead.

But, there seems to unavailability of Jhanvi's dates for Fighter. The daughter of Sridevi has already signed some Bollywood movies in the past. And, there is no clarity about her available call sheets. So, director Puri is now confused about whether to wait till Jhanvi 's free time or go ahead with another actress.

Considering that it's a Vijay Devarakonda's film and Puri Jagannadh's directorial, Jhanvi doesn't want to miss it. So, she reportedly sought some time from the makers to make herself available for Fighter. It remains to be seen how she will adjust her schedules to pair opposite her most favorite Vijay Devarakonda.
