Sarileru Neekevvaru, Mahesh Babu's Sankranti release has witnessed a fantastic day-1 figures at the box office. Featuring Mahesh Babu, Rashmika Mandanna and Vijayashanti in key roles, the film has taken the cash registers by storm in both Telugu states, despite some competition from Rajinikanth's Darbar.

The box office collection of day-1 is pegged to be around 32.77 Cr from AP and Telangana. Sarileru Neekevvaru has earned a share of 8.66 Cr on day-1. The out-and-out commercial entertainer minted 4.15 Cr share from Ceeded, 4.4 Cr from Uttarandhra region, 3.07 Cr share from Krishna, 5.15 Cr from Guntur, 3.35 Cr from East Godavari, 2.72 Cr share from West and 1.27 Cr from Nellore.

Trade analysts have been prove right as they were expecting the film to clock in more than Rs 30 crore. With around 30% recovery on day one, the buyers are hoping to be in safe zone by end of the first week. But, the film is going to face a big threat in the form on Allu Arjun's 'Ala Vaikuntapuramlo' from Sunday. So, it remains to be seen how it will perform from second day. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, the film has music by Devi Sri Prasad and cinematography by Rathanavelu.
