This Sankranthi distributors and theatre owners are quite happy with massive money spinners - Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikuntapuramlo. Superstar Mahesh Babu's film which released on 11th January is enjoying a glorious run at box-office despite facing mixed talk on day-1 and strong competition from Allu Arjun's film.
Making the best use of Sankranthi season, the Mahesh Babu-starrer collected a share of Rs 85 Cr in first week. The commercial entertainer has earned 27.7 Cr from Nizam, 12.4 Cr from Ceeded, 8.16 Cr from Guntur, 8.19 Cr from East and 5.61 Cr from West. The box-office figures of Krishna and Nellore stands at 11 Cr. If the film continues to maintain same pace on Saturday and Sunday, it is sure to make 100 Cr share by next week and all the buyers will achieve break even numbers. The distributors in Telugu states acquired theatrical rights of this film for 75.70 Cr.
As Ravi Teja's 'Disco Raja' is scheduled for next week, the producers are hoping Sarileru to continue same momentum at the box-office in second week too.
