One more week in the new year has come to an end. The previous week witnessed many events and some interesting updates. Let us rewind and take a look back at them.

It was a festive week for Pawan Kalyan fans as the actor-cum-politician has started shooting for 'Pink' Telugu remake. After more than two years, Pawan Kalyan came before the camera and some key scenes of the film were shot in Hyderabad last week. Few on location stills and a video clip which was leaked online went viral on social media. The walking stills of Pawan arrived as movie posters. But, Powerstar is said to have expressed his anger against the leak.

Pawan gave clear instructions to the movie unit to make sure no footage, photos, and videos go out. On the same day, Pawan Kalyan went to Mangalagiri to participate in Amaravati farmer's agitation, but Police had restricted him to the Jana Sena party office. Later, Pawan flew to Delhi to meet the top brass of the Bharatiya Janata Party. The alliance between Jana Sena-BJP is one of the major highlights of the week.

Sarileru Neekevvaru and Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo box-office war: The war of two Pongal releases was quite interesting as makers of both films released 200 Cr posters. On another hand, social media is abuzz with the rumors that these figures are fake. Also, some new scenes were added to Sarileru this week.

The Telugu remake of Asuran, featuring Victory Venkatesh, has kicked off in the direction of Srikanth Addala. The first look of the movie, titled Narappa was also unveiled by the makers. After back to back flops, Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja is back in theatres on 24th January with 'Disco Raja'. While fans were expecting him to strike back, the actor has disappointed yet again.

The Central government has announced the prestigious Padma Awards. It a huge void for TFI as none of the actors from Tollywood received the award. Both the Telugu states have failed to lobby for Telugu artists.
