The latest news is that Vijay Sethupathi is on board for this film. Yes. Sources say that he has been roped in to play the lead antagonist in this film. It is said that the makers have approached Makkal Selvan for this role and that he is impressed with the character he has got. An official confirmation on the same is awaited.

Directed by Kiran Korrapati, Boxer is jointly produced by Allu Venkatesh and Siddhu Mudda. Varun Tej has been hitting the gym quite regularly to get in shape to play the role of a boxer. Further, he took professional training in the sport to play his part with conviction.
