RRR was initially slated for release on July 30, 2020. But recently, the makers have unveiled that the film will be releasing on Januaryb8, 2021 and not this year anymore. This film has Ram Charan Tej, Jr NTR, Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris and others in lead roles.
The film went on floors last year and the shoot is still on. It has been a really long time and sources say that Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is the actual reason behind the delay.
Reports suggest that the actress has been so busy shooting for her Hindi films, that she doesn’t have time for RRR. She hasn’t begun shooting for the shoot of the film is what the reports suggest.
Unless Alia manages her call sheets and joins the sets of RRR, the important part of the film cannot be shot. Only once the shoot is completed, further aspects like VFX and other post-production stuff will begin. So it is high time that the makers of the film pressurize Alia to shoot for the film.
