We all know that director Puri Jagannath's ongoing project with Vijay Devarkonda, titled 'Fighter', is a Pan India film. But, it's learned that Vijay wasn't the first choice for this movie. The filmmaker has initially planned and narrated this script to Stylish Star Allu Arjun, but the actor reportedly turned down the offer due to the reasons best known to him.

Later, Puri made some minor changes to the script and briefed it to the latest sensation of Tollywood- Vijay Devarakonda, who gave hid nod immediately. However, there was no official confirmation about this report from the producers of Fighter.

Being produced by Puri Connects & Puri Jagannath Talkies, the film has Bollywood actress Ananya Pandey alongside Vijay. B-town filmmaker Karan Johar has come onboard to present 'Fighter' in Hindi and Vijay also underwent physical training in Thailand. Around 40 days of filming has been finished and on another hand, Bunny is busy with Pushpa shoot.
