Touted to be the remake of Malayalam super hit film Maheshinte Pratikaram, a Telugu film, Uma Maheshwara Ugra Roopasya is up for a release soon. Talented actor Satya Dev reprised the role of Fahadh Faasil in the film. The film unit confirmed that they are releasing the movie directly on a OTT platform.

The film completed censor formalities yesterday and the board awarded U certificate for the film. Venkatesh Maha who made C/O Kancharapalem is the director of the film. Praveena Paruchuri is the film's producer and she produced C/O Kancharapalem too.

Baahubali producers Prasad Devineni and Shobhu Yarlagadda jointly backed the film. They too agreed for releasing the film directly on a OTT platform, considering the ongoing situations around the world.

The film will release on a top streaming platform in June end or the first week of July.
