Bhumi Pednekar is one of the rising stars in the Bollywood film industry. With back to back hits, the actress proved to be the best heroine in Hindi cinema today. The actress expressed her wish to make her debut in South recently. She is currently doing the remake of Anushka's Bhaagamathiee.

On the other hand, she is in talks to play the lead role in the biopic of Karnam Malleswari. The film is going to be made in multiple languages and the makers wanted a potential heroine who can pull off the project. Bhumi would be an apt choice, considering her performance skills. The film unit is yet to take a final call on the same.

Directed by Sanjana Reddy, the film will hit the floors soon. Kona Venkat penned the script for the film.
