After Rudramadevi, there was no film from director Gunasekhar. But, he was busy developing the 'Hiranyakashyap' script since then. Now that the script is almost ready, the filmmaker is waiting for actor Rana's call-sheets to take it forward to sets.

However, Rana is giving attention to every other film except 'Hiranyakashyap'. The actor who is getting married on 8 August gave his schedules to other projects that he signed, but Gunasekhar is still waiting for his call-sheets. Most recently, Rana has agreed to work in Telugu remake of super hit Malayalam film 'Ayyappanum Koshiyum'. This remake will be officially launched in late August.

It will take at least two years to complete all the projects that Rana has committed to. So, will Gunasekhar wait for 2 more years is the major question. Since Suresh Babu is producing this film, the director is unable to either walk out or look for another actor. Whatever Rana Daggubati has put the director in an uncertain state.
