Uppena marks the debut of another hero from Mega family into the movie industry. Vaishnav Tej, the younger brother of Sai Dharam Tej acted in the film. The movie is ready for a release but it got postponed because of Corona Crisis. There is no way that the film hits a streaming platform and the makers will wait for a theatrical release.

UV Creations is going to launch a newcomer as a director soon and the production house plans to get Vaishnav Tej on board for the lead role in the movie.
