New Delhi, capital city for India, has got country’s first plasma bank at Institute of Liver and Biliary Sciences (ILBS). People who have completely recovered from COVID-19 and is rich in anti-bodies are coming forward to donate blood are expected to help the critical patient through plasma donation.

Many organisations are already working to connect the patients and plasma donors, but it still needs more awareness and understanding among common citizens. India’s top filmmaker and director of Baahubali series, SS Rajamouli has come forward with a tweet to create 'plasma donation' awareness among people and shared the link of a web portal where the donors can register for themselves.

Dropping a couple of tweets, the leading director said: “@IndiaGiveRED connects patients in need to #Covid_19 recovered plasma donors using this search engine, and we need it now more than ever.”

“If you have recovered from #COVID_19, come forward to help someone in need! There is no shame in getting #COVID. Please don’t let social stigma prevent you from saving lives! You can register as a donor here: http://givered.in
