Hero Nithiin is recharged with last film 'Bheeshma' that was released in February this year. He has lined up multiple projects after 'Bheeshma' and the remake of 'Andhadhun' is one of them. The movie will be directed by Merlapaka Gandhi and it will be produced by Nithiin under his home banner Shreshth Movies banner.
The makers have been scouting for the suitable actress who can reprise the role of Tabu in the original. They have reportedly approached heroines like Ramya Krishna, Nayanthara in the past but somehow they were not finalized. The latest talk reveals that Nithiin's team is holding discussions with Shriya and Priyamani for the same role. If the discussions are fruitful one of them will come on board for the remake of 'Andhadhun'.
There is a talk Nithiin is going to romance iSmart beauty Nabha Natesh in the movie. The makers are planning to kickstart the shooting of this movie early next year.
