Superstar Mahesh Babu and Trivikram Srinivas worked together for the films Athadu and Khaleja. Athadu became a big blockbuster at the box-office but Khaleja remained a classic film in Tollywood history. Both the actor and director duo have planned to work together once again after Khaleja but somehow it did not happen. As per the reports, we may expect a film in the combination soon.

Trivikram Srinivas penned a script that he thought would suit Mahesh Babu. For almost five months during the lockdown, Trivikram worked on the script and he is ready to narrate it to the actor. Most likely, a meeting is taking place between both in September first week. If Mahesh likes the script, he may immediately give a nod to the project.

Trivikram signed NTR's film which will happen next year. Mahesh did not sign any new film after Sarkaaru Vaari Paata.
