Film & serial shoots have been halted all over due to the pandemic. So, RRR maker Rajamouli decided to recommence shooting after the government's approval. But, it was not possible and the makers also thought to begin production work with limited crew. But, Rajamouli and his family members had suffered COVID-19 and they were under home quarantine for next few weeks. So, there was no further plan about fresh shooting schedule.

Now that Rajamouli and family members have totally recovered from Covid, the makers are planning to resume shooting again. A fresh schedule may likely begin after Dussehra and a massive set which was erected at Aluminium Factory in Hyderabad will be used in this schedule.

Since the set- which was built before lockdown- was not used for a long time, the makers have deployed a team to repair the damaged portions of it.
