Jayam Ravi is one of the popular actors in the Kollywood film industry. The actor has been working on a couple of interesting projects and the lockdown disrupted his plans. He pinned big hopes on his 25th movie titled Bhoomi. Touted to be a rural drama, the movie features Niddhi Aggarwal as the leading lady. We came to know that the film is going to have a direct release on an OTT platform. Disney+Hotstar platform bagged the streaming rights of the film for a fancy price. Since it is Jayam Ravi's milestone movie, there are good hopes for the success of the film.

The makers waited to have a theatrical release for the film but now, it is too late to expect the same as the situation is not under control. The makers also sold the satellite rights of the film to Vijay TV.

Lakshman is the director of the film. Sujatha Vijaykumar is the producer of the movie who bankrolled the movie under Home Movie Makers banner.
