We all know that Hyderabad is witnessing waterlogged streets and colonies due to heavy rain on Tuesday. Rain water entered into several parts of houses and offices, which has disturbed the daily activities of lakhs of people. Along with private and government offices, film industry also has stopped shootings due to heavy rainfall yesterday.

Even though COVID situation is not under control, few actors like Ravi Teja, Naga Chaitanya, Akhil Akkineni and Nani have started shooting by taking all precautions on the set. But, the shootings are again halted due to torrential rains. These film units have decided to pause production till the situation improves in Hyderabad.

Rajamouli's multi-starrer RRR, featuring Ram Charan and Jr NTR, was supposed to be resumed in this week after they halted it during pandemic lockdown. RRR team may announce a fresh date to resume the shoot.

On other hand, the central government has permitted to open cinema halls from October 15th. With red alert in several parts of city, theatres may not open up from tomorrow.
