Noted Tamil TV host and VJ Chitra ended her life in Chennai on Wednesday morning. As per the reports from the Kollywood media, Chitra hung herself to ceiling at a Private hotel in Nashrath Pettai area of Chennai. Apparently, she was engaged to businessman Hemanth.

"Tamil serial actress chitra(28) died by suicide. The actress was famous for her role mullai in #vijaytv serial #PandianStores #RIP" posted PRO Yuvraj on Twitter profile.

Apart from Pandian Stores, she also acted in a lot of TV serials. It is also revealed that Hemanth was with Chitra a few hours before she ended her life. She sent him out and has committed this. The police officials registered a case and started their preliminary investigation. The complete details of the case will come out soon.
