Puri Jagannath teamed up with Powerstar Pawan Kalyan for the films Badri and Cameraman Ganga tho Rambabu. Badri has become a big hit but the other movie did not do well at the box-office. Puri Jagan was supposed to do Janagana Mana with Mahesh Babu but due to several reasons, the project did not take off. Now, the director is planning to do the movie with Pawan Kalyan. Pawan Kalyan has reportedly given his dates to the director with an intention to bring the film for a release in theatres for the next elections.

Janagana Mana is going to be a political drama with a lot of interesting elements. The film can surely help with the mileage of Pawan Kalyan and his Janasena party in the general elections. Right now, Pawan Kalyan is busy with four projects. After finishing them, the actor will start doing this movie.
