Nandamuri Balakrishna was last seen in the film Ruler, which remained a box-office disaster. To strike back hard, he has teamed up with Boyapati Srinu for an action entertainer. The industry buzz suggests that the makers of this movie are planning to release it on Ugadi this year. Apparently, the movie has reached the final stages of its shoot. The entire filming is expected to be wrapped up by next month.

If everything goes as planned, the film will be ready by mid-March and it may hit the screens in the last week of the same month. Both Balayya and Boyapati had earlier worked together for films Simha and Legend. They are now eyeing to score a hat-trick with this film, which is being tentatively called #BB3. It seems that the team is planning to fix the film's title as Monarch.

Pragya Jaiswal is playing the female lead in this movie. Miriyala Ravinder Reddy is bankrolling the project under the banner Dwaraka Creations. Thaman is composing the music of it.
