It has been more than a year and a half since we saw Megastar Chiranjeevi on the big screen. He will be next seen in the action drama Acharya which is being directed by Koratala Siva. The movie is slated for release on May 13 and going by the latest updates, the works are progressing as per the plan.

The team has recently wrapped up a long schedule in Rajahmundry and Khammam regions. Along with Chiru, Ram Charan also took part in this schedule. Even Pooja Hegde joined the sets and participated in the shooting of a few crucial scenes. Koratala also shot a song with Charan and Pooja. According to the sources, only a few minor portions are left to be shot and they will be canned very soon.

The makers are planning to wrap up the shoot by the end of this month or early next month. With all the works happening as per the schedule, Acharya will hit the screens on the mentioned date. The film is being produced by Ram Charan and Niranjan Reddy.
