Oscars 2021 event was supposed to take place last year in January but due to the COVID pandemic, the Academy postponed the event. After almost more than a year, the event took off last night in California, USA. The Academy held the event at Hollywood and Highland Center in the studios.

The much-talked-about film Tenet failed to make it big at the event and grabbed only one award for the Best VFX. At the same time, the film Nomadland bagged three awards for the Best Film, Best Actress, and Best director. Nomadland's director became the second woman to bag the Best Director award at the Oscars. Another Round bagged the Best International Film award.
