The rise of OTT platforms is helping Telugu indie filmmakers to showcase their talent. Rarely we see independent films in Tollywood but of late, there are quite a few movies that are making a mark. C/o Kancherapalem, Manu, and Mail are some of the indie flicks that released in Telugu in the recent past. Now, yet another movie has joined the list. It is Cinema Bandi which is being bankrolled by prominent Bollywood filmmakers Raj and DK.

The trailer of this film got released just about a while ago. Going by the trailer, the film looks like a comedy-drama where a bunch of village rookies attempts to make a film with the camera they accidentally found in their auto. The dialogues and the sequences seem very refreshing. Using Tractor as film cranes and auto as round trolleys are some elements that stand out in the film.

The innocence of villagers also shown very well in the trailer. Definitely, you will get positive vibes about the film after watching the trailer. Cinema Bandi is being directed by Praveen Kandregula. It will have its world premiere on Netflix on May 14.
