Popular dubbing artiste and singer Ghantasala Ratnakumar is no more. Ratnakumar is music director Ghantasala's son.
Ratnakumar is known for dubbing in over 1000 movies and he also holds a record for dubbing eight hours non-stop. His record entered the India Book of Records. On Thursday early morning, Ratnakumar died of a heart attack. A few days back, Ratnakumar was infected with COVID-19 but he tested negative as well. He was undergoing treatment at Kaveri hospital, Chennai. Ratnakumar is also facing a Kidney issue and he was under dialysis. Ratnakumar had an experience of almost 40 years in the film industry.
Ratnakumar was survived by his wife and two daughters. His elder daughter Veena is also a singer and dubbing artist. Veena's wife Ravikanth is the director of popular films Kshanam and Krishna & His Leela.
